To shield our clients from the threat of illness and promote a culture of health, GermBlast operates on four research-informed pillars of infection control:
- GermBlast Service
Using only the most accurate and reliable scientific processes, we have created a safe, environmentally-friendly, and powerful disinfection service called GermBlast. To monitor and maintain our high standard of infection control, we provide all of our clients with a data-driven environmental health tracking system called GermStats.
Along with our 90-day service guarantee, all GermBlast clients also receive free awareness and education support to recruit others in the fight against infection at their locations and in their communities.
GermBlast is a proprietary disinfection service that systematically removes and destroys dangerous microorganisms in the environment.
The GermBlast service is a multi-step plan of attack that ensures dangerous microorganisms are detected and destroyed, no matter how stubborn or dangerous.
Pretreatment: Microfiber impregnated with antimicrobial silver and copper penetrates the surface of biofilm, a protective layer that colonized microorganisms produce.
Treatment: A combination of disinfecting sprays, high temperature steam, dry mist hydrogen peroxide, and advanced ultraviolet light systems is deployed.
Protection: Surfaces are treated with a protective polymer that prevents re-colonization of microorganisms for up to 90 days.
All of our products are EPA registered and approved for contact surfaces, making GermBlast the perfect infection control and disinfection service for healthcare facilities, schools, homes, and more.
While the GermBlast disinfection service is perfect for any environment where germs may live, the GermBlast Wash was created to apply the same infection-destroying tactics to equipment.
The GermBlast Wash is a mobile equipment disinfecting process that kills 99.999% of harmful microorganisms while:
- Dramatically reducing healthcare-associated infections
- Decontaminating mobile, non-electric tools and devices
- Clean hard-to-reach areas on equipment
- Extending the life of hospital equipment
GermBlast Wash is ideal for countless mobile items including stretchers, wheelchairs, walkers, carts, and IV poles.
With the threat of infection conquered, GermBlast rallies to your side to provide ongoing support and protection against future contamination.
GermStats is our unique data-collection, auditing, and reporting software that all GermBlast clients have access to after their first service.
After your first GermBlast disinfection service, we’ll provide you with data on the health of your environment.
The GermStats data collection method is based on recommendations from the American Journal of Infection Control. Using special swabs containing adenosine triphosphate (ATP) coenzyme and luciferase, the GermBlast swabs interact with organic matter – such as harmful microorganisms – to create visible light. This light is then measured to create a graph that gives you a clear picture of the health of your environment.
GermBlast technicians collect samples during our initial site survey and prior to each GermBlast treatment. The data from the samples forms a graph that gives you a clear picture of the health of your environment. Over time, you will see the threat of infection decrease.
With GermStats, you can also collect and analyze data from your staff members so you can see where your team has room for improvement through training and education. GermStats helps ensure your staff are putting their new infection-prevention skills to work.
Our dedicated GermBlast Data Analysts are happy to help you track any other metrics that are important to your organization, such as infection rates, attendance rates, or lost work days.
Along with the GermBlast service and GermStats environmental health monitoring system, you’ll receive the care of our highly-trained technicians. Each of our Field Service Supervisors have earned their Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) credentials from the Association for the Healthcare Environment.
Our CHEST credentialed team undergoes hours of training to master the best practices surrounding cleaning and disinfection, waste handling, floor and linen care, infection prevention, safety, communication, and more.
The top priority of each of our team members is the health and safety of our clients. Our team is here to help you conquer infection in your environment and answer any questions you may have.
The war against infection doesn’t end on the day of your GermBlast disinfection. Infectious disease prevention is a community effort that requires us all to come together and each do our part.
As a GermBlast client, you’ll receive ongoing education and awareness support for the lifetime of your service agreement. We’ll help you inform your employees, students, and community members about current health threats with high-quality materials that are easy to distribute physically or digitally.
GermBlast also provides educational seminars featuring video and print materials to ensure that everyone associated with your organization is well-equipped to protect themselves and others against the threat of infection.
Should you have an outbreak of infection at your location within 90 days of your GermBlast service, we’ll deploy the GermBlast disinfection service to once again wipe out the threat.
With GermBlast, you’re never alone in the fight against infection.
The GermBlast Air Purification System minimizes the spread of harmful airborne microorganisms, eliminates odor, and improves air quality so you can live better.
The GermBlast Ultraviolet Photocatalytic Oxidation (UV-PCO) Air Purification System is an efficient and cost-effective tool that breaks down airborne pollutants and microorganisms into carbon dioxide and water.
Not only does the GermBlast Air Purification System destroy over 60 harmful airborne pathogens, including measles, norovirus, tuberculosis, pneumonia, and even the flu, but it also improves the quality of the air you breathe so you inhale fewer irritants.
Enjoy the air again.
Given that most of us spend about 90 percent of our time indoors talking, laughing, eating, and sleeping, indoor air quality is a major factor in your overall health. Due to the way indoor heating and cooling systems circulate air, indoor pollution levels can be up to 5 times higher than outdoor levels.
This leaves you breathing in harmful airborne pollutants that can lead to frequent headaches, persistent colds, fatigue, asthma, and recurrent respiratory infections.
Unfortunately, the average air filter only captures 5 to 15 percent of pollutants in your air. Things like household cleaners and candles can make your indoor air quality even worse.
The World Health Organization has recognized indoor air pollution as one of the top five threats to public health. At GermBlast, we’re committed to reducing the threat to your health so you can live free of allergens and harmful particulates.
Our indoor air quality testing and service includes:
- Air Quality Testing
- Biological Aerosol Testing
- Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) Analysis
- Particulate Matter Testing
- Environmental Inspection
- Filter Service
Together, we can identify the true quality of your indoor air and implement a filtration system that will dramatically improve your indoor life quality.
Flooding, water damage, debris, and contamination – these are when mold strikes.
After a flood, GermBlast can give you peace of mind to know your business is safe, up to code, and free of dangerous mold.
With a GermBlast Mold Damage Assessment, you’ll get:
- A complete inspection of the entire property, not just the flooded areas
- An evaluation of the moisture content of the exposed studs and drywall above the flooded area
- Inspection of the accessible wall cavities to look for hidden mold
- Psychometric data (temperature, humidity, wet bulb) to ensure conditions are not favorable for mold to grow
- Air sampling
- A Certificate of Mold Damage Remediation (CMDR) to prevent your insurance company from making any underwriting decisions on your property based on prior flooding or mold issues
- The necessary paperwork you’ll need to show if you plan to sell your property within five years of a flood.
