THE EL PASO TEAM
Steve joined the GermBlast team in September of 2014. Before joining the team, Steve worked as a teacher/coach, principal, and superintendent for 38 years before retiring from education. His wife Shirley, who is also an educator, retired after 42 years of teaching.
He graduated from Sul Ross State University with a Bachelor of Science in 1973 and earned his Masters in Educational Administration from Sul Ross State University in 1988.
Steve and his wife have 2 children, Stan & Shelly, and 5 grandchildren, Kylan & husband Ryan, Kamber & husband Carter, Brayden, Bryson, & Brogan. Steve has had the rare opportunity to work with his daughter, Shelly at both Tahoka ISD and here at GermBlast.
He enjoys traveling and going to all of his grandkids' activities.
Ricardo was born and raised in El Paso and joined GermBlast in August 2018.
He received his Associate of Science in Biology from El Paso Community College and then transferred to UTEP and got his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a Biomedical Concentration.
In his free time he enjoys sports, movies, cars, as well as spending time with friends and family.
Christian is originally from El Paso, and has been with GermBlast about 2 years.
He enjoys spending time with family, hanging out with friends, and going out for a run when he can.
He is currently enrolled at University of Texas at El Paso for Computer Science and is incredibly passionate about Genetics.
Lucas is from Taos, New Mexico and joined Germblast in July 2018.
He received a Bachelors of Science in Biology and Microbiology from New Mexico State University and wants to pursue a Ph.D. in Microbiology.
In his spare time he volunteers for Camp Kesem where he works with children through and beyond their parents cancer. He also is an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, skiing, and hiking.
